14M w/c/o red sores

PAST HISTORY: Pt is a 14 yr old boy.

Claims to be alright before June 2022.

In June 2022, c/o sudden irruption of dry inflammatory cutaneous red sores in the face, arms, and back. No known trigger factor. Dr. prescribed ointments (desonide cream, ozenoxacin cream, cetyl alc., and stearyl alc. lotion), applying which symptoms resolved within 12 days.

A few days ago, after eating palak chicken at around 10 am and sattu at 6pm, pt started c/o epigastric pain and went to the washroom around 8:30 pm. The stool was of normal consistency and vol. No abnormalities in stool were detected. But, c/o no appetite so ate puffed rice.

The next day after waking up, c/o upper lip swelling (which later reduced) with a purplish velvety layer and dry scaly lesions in the corners of the mouth. Red sores like previous ones on the forehead, forearm, left side of the chest, left armpit (painful), and also in the back. He also c/o rt. eyelid puffiness and a dry scaly lesion. This time applying the same ointments did not provide much relief.

Sometimes he also c/o whole body itchiness with no known aggravating or relieving factors.

No history of any allergies.

CHIEF COMPLAINT AND Pt REQ.: dry inflammatory cutaneous red sores in the face, arms, forehead, armpit, chest, and back.








FAMILY HISTORY: 

Father- claims to be alright. Taking Rozavel for the past 4-5 yrs.

Mother- c/o generalized itchiness and with tiny itchy bumpy hyperpigmented areas.
