A 79 yr old female with c/o itchiness and dark painful bumps all over body

PATIENT HISTORY: Pt. is a 79 yr old woman. At the age of 8yrs, she had typhoid fever. Since childhood, she used to suffer from constipation, frequently. Did no treatment.

At 30-35 yrs, she started experiencing gastric problems, especially on eating prawns (max.), ice cream, spicy foods, and occasional overeating. Her constipation frequency increased. Would pass hard stool once a day. Sometimes won't pass stool at all for 1-2 days. So, started Ayurvedic medicine, which helps soften stool and resolves constipation.

 After eating the above-mentioned foods she would feel weak, decreased appetite, and would be completely bedridden because of dizziness. On taking homeopathy medicine, would recover within 30 mins. Initially, this kind of episode will happen 1-2 times/month. Over time, the frequency decreased to 3-4 times/yr. She was recommended by her Homeopathy Dr. that in case it does not decrease with homeopathy medicine she can have allopathic medicine. Hence, out of fear she takes allopathic medicine after eating spicy foods even when no issues. The last episode, was 15 days ago, after eating ice cream. Homeopathy did not work so took allopathic medicine. 

1.5 yrs ago after taking the first dose of covid vaccination, no issues. But, one month after taking her second dose, one night while sleeping, she started experiencing intense itchiness first on her chest and abdomen followed by all over her body. This disturbed her sleep and her appetite decreased. Did no treatment. 

1 yr ago, she c/o arthritis, and on treatment with Ayurvedic medicine and massaging with oil, the pain has decreased substantially.

2-3 months ago, dark hard raised bumps started appearing all over her skin, which was itchy and painful on irritation. Dr. prescribed allopathic medicine. After taking medicine, she complained of passing dark color urine. A blood test was done and jaundice was detected. Her appetite also decreased. Then, she went to Hyderabad for consultation. From there medicine was recommended and advised to do homeopathy treatment. After doing homeopathic treatment, her appetite improved and itchiness also decreased notably. Urine color also returned to normal.

CURRENT CHIEF PROBLEMS  AND PATIENT'S REQ.: c/o lower back pain for 1-2 months. Gets good relief from doing exercises and pranayama. But cannot walk long distances like before (gets tired soon). 2-3 of those dark hard raised bumps still emerging.

FAMILY HISTORY: Father had HTN and died due to a stroke

Mother had HTN and arthritis





DIAGNOSIS : obstructive jaundice, cholangiocarcinoma

29 yr old male with c/o constipation, bleeding pr and gastric problems

  PATIENT HISTORY: Pt is a 29 yr old male working in a jewelry making shop. At the age of 7yrs, he underwent an operation for inguinal scrotal hernia. Since childhood he suffers from gastric problems. When in class 3-4, tooth extraction done due to dental caries. Pt at that time loved to eat sweets and chocolates. At the age of 11 yrs, in 2006, went to kerala to work in a jewelry making shop. His gastric problems increased (suspected etiology new kind of food, used to eat spicy foods, work very late night). He felt bloated, tenesmus, hard stool(3-4 times/day), constipation, flatulence, abd. pain.  Occasionally, few drops of raw blood used to come out with stool (2-3 days continuously, then again with a gap of 1-3 months).
