PATIENT HISTORY: Pt. is a 46 yr old para teacher in a school. When in class 6, had the first incident of dysentery (loose mucus-laden stool, 4-5/day). abd. pain which would resolve on passing stool. Then 3-4 months later again the same problem. Recovery on its own within a day. No treatment was done. While studying B.A, he noticed that whenever he eats spicy foods, he would suffer from dysentery with abd, pain.
